Mitsubishi Pajero is a three-door modification of an all-wheel drive SUV of the K1 class. In 2014, the fourth generation of the model underwent a slight restyling.

By and large, in addition to a shortened base and fewer doors, the three-door modification is no different from the five-door. Neither in terms of chassis, nor in terms of equipment. And for sure, Pajero, regardless of the number of doors, is an excellent SUV that can overcome the most difficult obstacles.

The three-door Pajero, like its five-door counterpart, is equipped with an Advanced Super Select 4WD all-wheel drive system. It allows you to switch from economical single-axle drive mode to all-wheel drive mode directly while driving at speeds up to 100 km/h. If the ground under the wheels is viscous, the driver can engage the center differential lock so that the power is evenly distributed to both axles, and thus increase traction.

For driving in very difficult conditions, the Mitsubishi Pajero has a forced rear differential lock. In this case, both rear wheels are rigidly connected: if, for example, one of the rear wheels starts to slip or slip, thanks to the rear differential lock, the other wheel with better grip will not let the SUV get stuck. In a word, with such a car you can go into the swamp, and into the sand, and into the mud.

The three-door Mitsubishi Pajero is powered by a 3.2-turbo diesel engine that produces 200 hp. With. power and 441 Nm of torque available from 2000 rpm. The motor can work in tandem with both a 5-speed manual gearbox and an “automatic”. From this, in particular, depends on the acceleration of the car from standstill to 100 km/h. With “mechanics” it is 9.7 seconds, with “automatic” – 10.4 seconds. The maximum speed in both cases is 180 km / h.

In some markets, in addition to the 3.8-liter turbodiesel engine, other engines are installed under the hood of the Pajero.
