2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Owner's Manual

The new Mitsubishi Lancer X was developed in a design office in Trebur, near Frankfurt (Germany). The sports sedan borrowed some of its features from the Concept-X concept car (introduced in 2005 in Tokyo), also developed in Europe. The low stance, proportionally folded hood and trunk, wide tire footprint, signature “Jet Fighter” grille, deep-set headlights – all this will become a new word in the concept of sports sedans. In addition to matching Mitsubishi’s design philosophy, the development of the new Lancer has been built on the model’s 35-year-old racing history, from the 1973 Lancer 1600 GSR, winner of numerous rallies in Africa and Australia, to the acclaimed 1980 Lancer EX 2000 Turbo and the current Lancer Evolution.
Since 2007, Mitsubishi Lancer X will be supplied to the Ukrainian market only as a sedan. In the future, the choice of body options for the Lancer model will be expanded due to the appearance of a hatchback body type.
