2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Owner's Manual

The internal combustion engine is connected to the rotation of the front wheels using a continuously variable gearbox, the gear ratio of which corresponds to approximately the fifth or sixth gear of conventional gearboxes, so it only comes into operation at high speed.
The rest of the time, the Outlander PHEV runs on electric traction, which, of course, can and should be replenished. To do this, a traction battery with a capacity of 12 kW / h, consisting of 90 cells, is hidden in the floor of the SUV. It can be fully charged from a network with a voltage of 220 V and a current of 10 amperes in five hours. It is possible and faster – in three hours, but for this you need a special 16-amp charger. Well, at a 300-volt station, you can charge the battery by 80% in just 30 minutes.
As for the equipment of the hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander, it is no less extensive and varied than that of the conventional versions. Especially when it comes to security.
