1999 Mitsubishi 3000gt – a three-door coupe or convertible in the GT class from the Japanese auto concern. The closest to the model was the American car Dodge Stealth. Visually, the models differed in the architecture of the rear pillars, the shape of the rear optics, as well as the lines of the anti-wing. For the Japanese version, the right steering wheel and the design of the rear spoiler became characteristic features.

Exterior

The mouth of the air intake with functional holes attracts attention. On the outside, the trunk lid is equipped with a powerful fender. The headlights of the main optics are now stationary. The front bumper gives the car an aggressive character and emphasizes its power. After the update, the model received improved turn signals. Changes in design and filling affected the mass. After restyling, the model weighs 1690 kg. The package includes 18-inch wheels with an original modern design.

Interior

Access to the cabin requires caution. The car is quite low, so the seats are low to the floor. The doors are elongated, which requires attention in small parking lots.
The seat is bucket-shaped, which is typical for sports car models. The front-row seats are adjustable in 7 positions. The height is not enough even for the front row, so tall people will not be comfortable.

Space in the back is limited, so it is recommended to fold the seats and use them as a luggage compartment.
On the instrument panel, the speedometer and tachometer have moved aside from the fuel gauge. On the right side are panels with performance indicators. Closer to the center of the console are the automatic climate control controls. The infotainment system is represented by an audio system with a CD player. Wide rear pillars limit the view behind the car.

Specifications

The sports coupe is equipped with a gasoline V-shaped 6-cylinder engine with a working volume of 3 liters, the power of which is 286 horsepower. The power unit is equipped with a mechanical 5-speed gearbox. This engine used to belong to the Dodge Stealth, but after being used in the 1999 Mitsubishi 3000gt, it was retired. Turbo engines are capable of producing up to 324 horsepower.

1999 Mitsubishi 3000gt received front airbags, air conditioning, and keyless entry. Leather seats, automatic air conditioning, and heated mirrors are provided for the SL and VR-4 trim levels.
