The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is an all-wheel drive 5-door SUV of the K2 class. The car became a representative of the restyling model of the third generation.
The car has a modern, dynamic look thanks to the lines on the body and stamping on the hood. The front part received a trapezoidal radiator grille, which is divided into two parts by a wide bumper strip in the color of the body. Main optics and cornering lights are combined in one unit. Round fog lights and C-shaped daytime running lights are located below in a separate niche. Thanks to the updated design, the car seemed to be stretched in length. The parameters of the car have changed slightly and the model has increased in size.
Interior
The interior of the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is restrained but has everything you need for comfortable and safe driving. The central screen on the console is located quite low, which creates obstacles to visibility. The Fuse system allows voice control of navigation and multimedia. The steering wheel is telescopic and conveniently adjustable for the driver.
The front seats are bucket-shaped and have convenient adjustments. The driver’s seat changes to 6 positions, and the front passenger seat is adjustable to 4 positions. For the back row, there is enough space for passengers of average height. The seats are conveniently split in a 60/40 ratio. The salon has fabric upholstery.
The basic configuration includes an audio system with 4 speakers, USB connectors, and a single-zone air conditioner. Door pockets, front seat backs, front, and rear cup holders are provided for storing things.
Specifications
Three gasoline engines are provided for the restyled model. The 4-cylinder in-line power unit with a working volume of 2.4 liters produces a power of 168 horsepower and a torque of 226 Nm. A 2-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 148 hp is additionally available. and 196 Nm. Both power units are combined with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The line includes a 3-liter power unit with a capacity of 230 “horses”, which works in tandem with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The model received a full list of safety systems and driver assistants for comfortable driving. The basic configuration includes a wheel lock prevention system, stability control, front and side airbags, and side curtains. An optional rearview camera is provided.
