2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor Owner's Manual







Mitsubishi Endeavor is a mid-size SUV with front or all-wheel drive, built on the Mitsubishi PS (Project America) platform. The model premiered in January 2003 at the Detroit Auto Show.
Appearance Endeavor was created by a group of designers led by David O’Connell. The car was facelifted several times, but these changes were not too significant, so the SUV always remained recognizable, which, however, did not help it become truly popular. In 2009, Mitsubishi did not release a single copy of Endeavor for retail sale at all, but resumed mass production in 2010.
Mitsubishi Endeavor is presented in several versions. The LS equipment, among other things, includes air conditioning, a CD player, 17-inch wheels, cruise control, as well as power windows and mirrors. The more expensive SE trim has automatic climate control, heated seats and leather trim. Safety systems such as traction control, ABS, ESP, airbags, etc. are installed on the Endeavor “by default”, regardless of the configuration.
At the time of its debut, Endeavor was equipped with a 3.8-liter 6G75 engine with a V-shaped arrangement of 6 cylinders. He gave out 215 liters. With. power and 339 Nm of torque and aggregated with a 4-speed semi-automatic gearbox. By 2011, Mitsubishi engineers prepared a modified version of the power unit, which produces 10 hp. With. more, that is, 255 “horses”.
The Endeavor was assembled at the Mitsubishi Motors plant in Normal, Illinois (USA). However, in August 2011, the production of the SUV was discontinued.
