Mitsubishi ASX – crossover class “K1” with front or all-wheel drive. The fourth restyling of the third generation of the model. The car debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019.

X-Face or, as Mitsubishi calls its corporate identity, “Dynamic Shield” became the key element incorporated in the fourth restyling of the third generation ASX.

In other words, the crossover has joined the updated family style, already familiar to us from the Ecipse Cross, L200 and Pajero Sport models. This is a front part with two-story optics, a modified grille and bumper, as well as a new longer hood and fenders. The stern of the car received less significant differences, namely: a slightly redrawn bumper and taillights with LED “stuffing”.

In the interior, one of the changes is the touch screen of the multimedia system enlarged from 7 to 8 inches (6.5 inches in the base), and as a result, slightly modified central air vents. In all other respects, there are no visual differences from its predecessor.

In addition to 7 airbags and a stability control system, Mitsubishi ASX has acquired such systems as emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, blind spot monitoring and tracking lane markings. Also in the arsenal there is keyless entry with an engine start button, a rear-view camera, heated seats, 18-inch wheels, a panoramic roof and a Rockford Fosgate premium audio system.

In Europe, this crossover from Mitsubishi is presented with one single petrol aspirated 2.0 MIVEC (4B11) for 150 forces and 195 Nm of torque. This engine can be equipped with either a 5-speed manual or a Jatco stepless variator. Drive – front or full All Wheel Control with all-wheel drive transmission Multi-Select 4WD. The latter has three modes: 2WD – only the front axle works, 4WD Auto – depending on the situation, throws up to 50% of the moment back, 4WD Lock – the friction clutch is blocked.

In addition to the two-liter engine, the previous 1.6 (4A92) with a capacity of 117 hp will also be available. and a moment of 154 Nm. Cars with such a power plant will only be available with a 5-speed manual and front-wheel drive.
