The 2022 Mitsubishi RVR/ASX is a “K1” class crossover with front or all-wheel drive. The fourth generation of the model. The online premiere for the European market took place on September 22, 2022. Start of sales in Europe – March 2023.

The ASX, also known as the RVR or Outlander Sport in some markets, is a compact SUV and the flagship model of Mitsubishi Motors, which was first introduced in Europe in 2010. The new ASX is based on the CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and was specially developed for the European market. The new generation ASX offers a wide selection of power units that meet the modern needs of the European market. Leading the line is a hybrid model (PHEV) with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, two electric motors (generator-starter and main motor), an automatic multi-mode transmission, and a 10.5 kWh battery.

The fully hybrid model (HEV) consists of a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors, an automatic multi-mode transmission, and a 1.3 kWh battery.

The mild hybrid model combines a 1.3-liter direct-injection turbo engine with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT), while the entry-level model is available with a 1.0-liter gasoline engine with 91 k.s. with turbocharging and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
