The Pajero Sport front suspension is a wishbone design with an anti-roll bar. At the back, a continuous bridge is installed, suspended on springs. As for the all-wheel drive system, it is equipped with a symmetrical center differential that divides the torque equally between the axles by default. The system operates in four modes: rear-wheel drive (2H), all-wheel drive (4H), with a locked center differential (4HLc) and with the lowering row engaged. All this can be supplemented with a locking rear cross-axle differential. When the all-wheel drive transmission operates with all interlocks, not only the traction control system, but also the stabilization system is automatically turned off.

The main, so to speak, engine for the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 178 hp. With. power at 4000 rpm and 350-400 Nm of torque (depending on the gearbox) at 2000 rpm. The turbocompressor of the unit is with a variable geometry of the working part. The motor can work both with a 5-speed manual gearbox and with a 5-band “automatic”.

Relies on an SUV and a gasoline power unit – a 3-liter, issuing 222 “horses” and 261 Nm. The Japanese taught him to work only with an automatic transmission.
