Compared to the previous model, the rigidity of the body is increased (a consequence of the use of glue-welding), the suspension and steering are reconfigured, and the Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) is now available with two additional modes of operation – Sport and Snow.
Externally, the restyled model can be distinguished by upgraded LED headlights, redesigned grille (with fine mesh mesh mesh) and the gray stripe below the front bumper, and a rectangular design of the front fog lights. Changes to the rear are a more solid grey bumper surround and a longer boot lid spoiler. In addition, size 18 rims are now available in a different pattern.
Changes in the interior of the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV are not so extensive: the front seats have been slightly added in lateral support, and interior trim materials and leather on the seats in the maximum configuration have been changed. The design of the dashboard and the location of buttons on the central tunnel has been improved. The rear passengers now have their air vents. The volume of the boot with a subwoofer is 453 liters, if you fold the rear row – 868 liters (counting “up to the ceiling”, we get 721 liters and 1584 liters, respectively). In addition, a recess in the basement is also available, its volume is 35 liters.
