The modernization of the technical part of the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander crossover is minimal. First of all, this concerns other (aimed at better handling) settings of the steering system, as well as additional noise insulation of the exhaust manifold, which should lead to an overall reduction in noise in the car.
As for the power plants, they remained the same: these are naturally aspirated engines with MIVEC technology for 2.0 liters (150 hp and 196 Nm of torque) and 2.4 liters (167 hp and 222 Nm). Front-wheel drive is available only with a weaker engine, and 217 mm of passport clearance is a help for the full one. Both engines are equipped with a CVT INVECS III variator.
Equipment available for the Outlander is 7 airbags, a blind spot monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, an all-round camera system, 18-inch wheels, LED head (dipped) light, DRL and fog lights, light and rain sensors, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and electric driver’s seat, ROCKFORD audio system with subwoofer and 8 speakers.
