Mitsubishi Galant has the highest level of passive and active safety. Nowhere else have you felt more secure than in the cabin of the new Galant. The excellent passive safety of the new Galant is provided by the proprietary RISE (Realised Impact Safety Evolution) safety body technology. This technology is designed on a supercomputer and worked out during numerous crash tests. It includes a very strong and rigid roll cage around the cabin and specially programmed crumple zones to dissipate impact energy.
For additional protection of the driver and passengers, Galant uses the SRS system, which includes front airbags for the driver and front passenger, side airbags and curtain airbags on the windows.
