2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Owner's Manual

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact crossover of the K1 class. The debut of the model took place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017, and it went on sale in the home and European markets in the autumn of the same year.
After a pause, Mitsubishi needed new models like air. And they appeared in the segment in which the Japanese company is traditionally strong. These are, of course, crossovers and SUVs. But before the production model was shown to the public, it was intrigued for a long time by concepts, and of a completely different form factor. But if the prototypes were called hard-to-pronounce abbreviations, then the production car received the beautiful name Eclipse, which previously bore a sports coupe.
The debutant is built on the GS platform, which was developed by the Japanese together with the DaimlerChrysler concern. It formed the basis of many models of both companies. Thus, the basis for ASX, Outlander and Eclipse Cross is the same. The size of the wheelbase, which is 2.67 meters, also coincides.
However, the length and overall dimensions of all three models differ from each other, and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross just occupies a place between ASX and Outlender. The crossover is 4.4 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.68 meters high. With a general coupe-like body shape, the exterior of the Eclipse is replete with faceted elements. Yes, and there are also enough straight lines. Officially, this style is called Dynamic Shield, but company representatives admit that they wanted to make their new crossover so that it would not leave anyone indifferent. First of all, the car is addressed to people who are confident in their style and ready for new challenges. Quite a lot of distinctive elements were used, which is only worth an almost vertical stern with a jumper between the rear lights. The rich red color Red Diamond, which has become a presentation for the Eclipse Cross, also looks great.
