Images and specifications of the new Mitsubishi Triton have been published

The Mitsubishi company took a sample of the new generation Triton pickup truck to road tests in the winter. Almost immediately after that, it became known that this car will become a prototype for many other models that will be released by the Japanese brand shortly. Therefore, the design of the Mitsubishi Triton 2024 reveals the appearance of the following novelties of the manufacturer.

An independent developer has presented 2 renders that show what the Japanese model could look like. Judging by them, the future L200 will retain a recognizable appearance, although its body will be quite deeply redesigned. According to the author of these renderings, a more sporty exterior design will be chosen for the pickup, which will be distinguished by smooth shapes. The car will be equipped with thin main optics with an additional block of lights, which will also be reduced in size.

The Mitsubishi Triton will retain the signature metal inserts that frame the radiator grille. But these elements will also be redesigned. The front and rear bumpers have a relatively simple configuration, which generally follows the design of many generations of the L200. In addition, large lights will appear at the back, and the wheel arches look wider than the current version of the pickup truck.

The new Mitsubishi Triton will reportedly be larger than its predecessor, which measures 5,210mm in length. It is also expected that the track of the Japanese model will be widened, which will have a positive effect on passability. All-wheel drive raises certain questions. Currently, the Triton is equipped with two types of transmission. But the future pickup may move to a new platform, which limits the possibilities of using different types of four-wheel drive.
