Mitsubishi has developed an entirely new range of state-of-the-art MIVEC engines for the Colt. All engines offer impressive power for their size, high reliability and fuel efficiency. 1.3L (95 HP) and 1.5L (109 HP) petrol engines are available to choose from.

A 5-speed manual transmission with sporty short, crisp shifts is standard on the Colt. For those who prefer the convenience of an “automatic” in the city and the pleasure of shifting a manual transmission on country roads, Mitsubishi offers the state-of-the-art 6-speed Allshift manual robotic transmission. In manual mode, the driver simply pumps the gearshift lever back and forth like in a sports car (you don’t need to press the clutch pedal). When comfort is needed for city driving, you simply shift the gear lever to automatic mode, and the Colt will change gears itself.

Just do not think that the Mitsubishi Colt was created only to impress in the showroom. As impressive as its design and smart, convertible interior are, the ultimate car experience can only come from driving on the road. It was for this that this extraordinary car was created with a sense of humor and style.
